Welcome!
Welcome to the first post on the Global Bloggers blog! This post is coming to you from Mrs. Olson’s 4th grade classes in Wisconsin. To kick things off, we need to know what’s important to elementary school students today. While most of the posts here will not be question-based, we do need to get your opinions to make this blog a great place to learn and meet people from all over the world! So, tell us what kind of things you’d like to see talked about on the blog. Please feel free to comment with questions about the blogging process, too! I think we should talk about how our schools are diffrent and things that are diffrent in the weather. Over here it is cold. Today it is about 15 degrees. I would like to know all about your school and what you do on a regular day. I think it will be a very fun experince.
I am going to be blogging with people out of my country. People in Wisconsin. I hope it will be fun. Actually I know it will be fun.
I’m glad that it isn’t going to be question based. And I’m even more exited that we will be blogging with kids all over the world. I am new to blogging but I’m positive it’s going to be fun. And Hope other kids join in on the exitment. I want maybe like maybe pictures of unusal amimals, funny riddles, and informitave paragraphs.
I think that what we should talk about what you are learning in shcool and what life is like there.
I would like to learn more about blogging. I also would like to see what it is like in Australia and Wisconson. I would like to just talk and learn about those two places. I really want to have fun mostly.
I think that we should talk about the latest news like the picture from mars or the black and white squirel. Anything that lights up our imagination. Things exiting, but at the same time educational. The things can be fun but I think that the teachers should get together and out of the things that we chose they should decide what can and cannot be posted. If it is not possible for them to get together them they should regularly check to make sure everything that is posted is appropriate.
I want to know what thing are going on in school like are you learning the same things as us. Also what things are going on in the class room have you had any special events. Do you have morning meeting?
Today in Tennessee the high today is 50 degrees. I think a couple of important things in elemantry school are: we need lunch, and to learn. I want to know what kind of temperture you have up North. I used to live up north but we had to move down south. I don’t really like it down south it is really boring and rarely fun up north is really fun I hope you are having a lot of fun there. P.S. I heard you have one of the biggest water slides in the U.S.A.
I would like to learn more things about different places. I would also like to about the weather you are having.

and also about what you are learning.
Well I would like to see who is in your class? Where they are from? What is in Wisconsin? What is it famous for? And what kind of work do yall do? Well, today 1/25/08 we are having a social studies test I think I might do good.
On the blog I would like to see things about the other schools represented and the school that your class goes to. The blog I think should include things about your class and about your hobbies and things that your class does.
I think it would be fun to see if your class does many things different than ours. We could do some really cool things with blogging and find out more about all of the classes around the world! I live in Murfreesboro, TN and have a great teacher. I have 2 kitties as pets and a family of 6.
